It's tough for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

The highest peaks have long been mastered.

We're talking about the squad that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, plus six more T20 titles, and earlier maintained 1,294 days unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, targeted by the record chasers, are the only things left for a squad that has accomplished all there is.

It needed as late as Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to complete their first ODI chase exceeding 300, taking back their record for the biggest in the female 50-over format, is, honestly, a compliment to the pitchers that have worn canary yellow over five decades.

It's difficult for their batters to possess a record if not afforded the chance.

Some will argue the reasoning behind the pressure of a final. Others can counter with the difficulty that comes when facing a record target and a loud pro-India audience of 20,000.

What is certain is this century was far harder to see coming.

The Christchurch carnage in 2022 happened while she led the batting statistics, but this knock followed six innings in India from the beginning of the previous month in which she had failed to pass 30.

"If you've been watching me in training, it was a frustrating experience because it seemed my form was missing whatsoever," stated Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 deliveries - her fastest at a World Cup - and her century in 84 deliveries while she punished short deliveries, hitting 21 fours and three big hits.

By the time she was dismissed her side needed 66 additional runs at one run per ball - an unconquered height now needing a comfortable finish.

"Pursuing 330 is new territory so I'm pleased we have the assurance to do that now," stated Healy further.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it another time but, if we do, we know we can achieve it."

Those words will be the final thing competing nations at this championship should hear.

During the last week a belief they will triumph from any situation has only strengthened - this success succeeding success over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite sitting at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a match against old rivals England in Indore in ten days, by which point a last-four spot may well be secure.
